Whether you knew you were coming to the NICU or it came as a total surprise, having a premature infant creates many questions about baby and parenting.

We asked parents like you what they wanted to know. We listen to what they said. Then we designed NICU2HOME to meet the demands of NICU parents. Created by a neonatal hospitalist and a leading team of designers, NICU2HOME is the first evidence-based and research-backed smartphone application designed to support parents with babies (and even multiples) in the NICU.

NICU2HOME highlights include:

Daily Updates - When your baby is in the NICU, you can receive daily updates on your babys weight, feeding, breathing, and other clinical information.

Care Team - Here you can check your babys care team on a real-time basis when your baby is in the NICU

Milestones - You can track milestones for your babys special moments like weight gain, feeding, breathing, discharge, and more special moment with families at home

Education Center - Here you can learn everything you need to know about your new baby and their new environment in the NICU. With over 180 different educational topics covered, NICU2HOME will send you information each day that specifically is geared toward you and your baby’s journey.

Connect with your friends and family-- New parents need support, so we have designed NICU2HOME so you can share your NICU journey with your support crew through this safe, secure and private channel.

Post and share—NICU2HOME allows you to easily and securely share your thoughts and experiences with the important people in your life, taking them along for the ride.

Being in the NICU can be stressful. NICU2HOME is here to help you manage the first days, the long nights, and what often is weeks or even months in the NICU. We hope it helps you be the parent you always wanted to be.

NICU2HOME was initially offered to a small number of NICU parents as part of a scientific research program.
